Speed Dating
Our first event for semester 1 was our speed dating event called "No Friend Zone". This Event was Hosted by The Utech Marketing Seminar 2014-2015 on October 16, 2014. Thirty daters were involve where they each got 5 minutes date with the individuals of their choice.
Pre-Exam Raffle
The raffle was draw at the Utech's Students Union College Rave.

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT
With the semester coming to an end the seminar body in Aid of City of Refuge Children's Home had hosted a clothing drive. Along with the clothes sponsor by the student Body of UTech and sponsors of toys and Food, The Seminar body was able to put on a Christmas treat on December 20, 2014 for the children of City of Refuge Children's Home.

To start of the semester the seminar body host a event called LA Cuisine. This event is centered around giving food lovers the experience of having an extraordinary lunch and also for fans of chef Stero to get a taste of his magic

Target Audience: The General Public
Format: The annual ‘Miss Bizad’ beauty pageant allows ladies from the College of Business Management to showcase their talents, beauty and most importantly intelligence. Individuals in attendance are exposed throughout the proceedings to organizations that have sought to sponsor this prestigious event, be it for category prizes or general awards.
Brand Fair


Target Audience: The General Public
Date: March 18, 2015
Format: Brand Fair is one of the pinnacle events for the Marketing Seminar where we invite companies in and around the corporate area to showcase their products and services to the public. It is held annually on the front lawn of the University and provides an avenue for organizations to gain exposure/awareness among potential customers that will be in attendance. The theme for this year Brand Fair is "New Media Marketing: Understanding and Engaging Today's Connected Consumers"
Media Launch


Target Audience: The General Public and the Media
Date: March 18, 2015
Format: Representatives from various media outlets are invited to the campus each year by the Seminar group to inform the public of our upcoming events. This is where the public is made aware of our conference day and theme. Media launch is a major platform for providing exposure for our sponsors. This event will be held on the front lawn of the Unversity in collaboration with Brand Fair


Seminar Day
Target Audience: Corporate Jamaica, Tertiary Students and the General Public
Date: March 25, 2015
Format: On Seminar Day, all Majors of the School of Business execute the student conference under a general theme as well as related sub themes handled by each major. These majors include: Finance & Banking, Production & Operations Management, Accounting, General Management, Marketing and Human Resource Management, The theme for Marketing Seminar 2014/ 2015 is "New Media Marketing Driving Business Success Through Animation And Digital Technology”. Experts on the theme and sub-themes will make presentations to the University community as well as Corporate Jamaica.
